"STAIN" acrylic on plywood
I wanted to create an abstract piece that was led by the materials. For this purpose I chose a discarded piece of plywood from my neighbour's field brushed off most of the debris and then using a cloth in a polishing motion applied layers of acrylic paint enhancing the patterns or feel of the wood as I progressed.
The piece is approx 60cms by 120cms and would need to be hung on a wall. Some natural light would be an advantage.
